Solar water tank : for your individual solar water heating system installation, the production of warm water is provided for a sanitary use (bathroom, kitchen, shower room, etc..). The volume of your solar water tank depends from the quantity of people living in your home. For 2 people, a solar water tank NASH TEC 150 to 200 liters is recommended, for 4 people please plan 200 to 300 liters, for 6 people 300 to 500 liters, for 8 people 500 to 700 liters, for 10 people 700 to 1000 liters.

For an installation like a combined solar water heating, the production of hot water serves to cover water requirements with hot sanitary water and the heating of your house. We recommend you to double the storage capacity of your solar water tank NASH TEC , or even to triple this capacity if need, according to the internal volume of your house and its level of insulation.

E = Inside water tank is a metal tank which contains the warm sanitary water

G = Circulating pump pushes the coolant liquid towards the solar panel. Its operation is ordered by a solar controller which takes in charge the temperature of the sanitary water in the solar tank

H = Solar controller is connected to the sensors of the solar water tank, to the solar panel, to the working station

I = Temperature sensor on the solar panel

J = Temperature sensor on the water tank

K = Additional heat exchanger coil will warm the cold water during the winter, with the warm water flow produced by a gas / wood / fuel boiler, if the quantity of sunny weather is low too much.

The sun is located at a lower level in the sky, in winter that in summer, but it is especially in winter that the need for warm water is the most important. A slope of 45° in summer is recommended for latitudes located at the level of London, Paris, Munich, Vienna, Prague, Bratislava, Budapest. These same cities require a slope of the solar panels with 30° during the winter to obtain the optimal output efficiency. For this reason, we advise you to install your solar panels on adjustable aluminum frames in slope in order to avoid a loss of efficiency of about 30% in winter. The wind energy is interesting financially, on the condition of being able to install oneself its own wind turbine. However, a reduction of the weight of the generator is going to imply a reduction of the maximal output power produced by your wind turbine, because the size of the generator will be also reduced.
